A Lasting Legacy

Most of us think about stewardship in terms of what we do during our lifetime. But what if our stewardship could extend beyond our years? What if we could plant seeds now that will bear fruit for generations to come?

Dear TLI family,

These past weeks, we have seen signs of growth and progress that remind me that TLI is more than an organization, it is a movement. A movement to form, inspire, and unleash lay Catholic leaders into every sphere of civil society.

The mission is urgent. We are living in a time when the voice of truth, reason, and faith is often drowned out by noise and confusion. But our Lord calls His people, especially the laity, to bring light into every sector: business, government, education, media, arts, science, and beyond. This is the heartbeat of Tepeyac Leadership, to prepare the next generation of lay Catholic leaders who will stand for what is right, lead with integrity, and transform culture from within.

I won’t pretend the path is easy. Like every apostolate, we face our share of trials, challenges of every kind, logistical hurdles, and the need for more hands and hearts to serve. Yet through every difficulty, I see God’s providence. I see doors opening, partnerships forming, and leaders emerging. Your prayers and support have been and continue to be the lifeblood of this mission.

And this week, I want to talk to you about something deeply connected to mission, but which we often overlook: legacy.

You may not know this, but August is National Make-a-Will Month. While making a will might seem like a purely practical or legal step, for us as Catholics it can also be a profound spiritual act. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the fact that everything we have, our time, our talents, our resources, are gifts from God, entrusted to us for a time, to be used for His glory.

Most of us think about stewardship in terms of what we do during our lifetime. But what if our stewardship could extend beyond our years? What if we could plant seeds now that will bear fruit for generations to come?

Leaving a gift in your will to an apostolate like Tepeyac Leadership is about shaping the future of our Church and society. It is about ensuring that decades from now, faithful, well-formed lay Catholics are still stepping into leadership roles across the world, building a Christian civilization in the 21st century.

Imagine a young Catholic in the year 2045, serving as a principled CEO, a courageous legislator, or an inspiring educator, whose leadership was made possible because of your foresight today. That is the power of legacy.

Through our partnership with My Catholic Will, you now have an easy, faith-filled way to make that legacy a reality. When you create your will through them, you can also designate Tepeyac Leadership as a beneficiary, joining us in our mission to transform society by investing in the next generation of lay Catholic leaders.

It is a way of saying: “I believe in this mission. I believe in the power of lay Catholic leadership. And I want it to endure long after I am gone.”

If you have not yet made a will, or if you would like to update yours, I invite you to prayerfully consider including Tepeyac Leadership, Inc. in it. The process is simple, and through My Catholic Will, it can be done in a matter of minutes. You can begin here: https://mycatholicwill.com/tepeyac

Friends, let us remember that our lives are but a breath, and yet the choices we make today can echo into eternity. I humbly ask you to continue walking with us, through your prayers, your encouragement, and your generosity. The world desperately needs faithful Catholic leaders. Together, we are answering that call.

In Christ and Our Lady of Guadalupe,

Cristofer ❤️‍🔥 Pereyra
