From Formation to Mission: TLI and THL

Imagine Catholic professionals standing at Tepeyac, praying and learning together, then returning to their nations with renewed fire for mission. Imagine a network of lay leaders who know each other, support each other, and stand together across borders and professions.

Formation leads to mission. Mission requires courage. And courage begins with saying “yes.”

For years, Tepeyac Leadership has been preparing Catholic professionals to embrace their vocation as leaders. Through formation, mentorship, and fellowship, we have helped men and women discover that their careers are not simply jobs, but a mission field.

Yet formation is never the end. Formation is always for mission.

The Hour of the Laity 2025 is the moment when years of preparation bear fruit. It is where leaders formed by TLI, and countless others, will come together to be commissioned for the task of sanctifying society. THL2025 is not about information, but transformation. It is about equipping Catholic professionals to go forth boldly into every corner of culture as witnesses of Christ.

Every Mass ends with a commissioning, “Go forth, the Mass is ended.” The word Mass itself comes from missio, meaning “sending.” The Church gathers us, forms us, and then sends us. The same rhythm applies to leadership. TLI has been forming leaders, and THL2025 is the sending.

Imagine Catholic professionals standing at Tepeyac, praying and learning together, then returning to their nations with renewed fire for mission. Imagine a network of lay leaders who know each other, support each other, and stand together across borders and professions.

This is the fruit of formation. This is what the Church needs today.

The world does not need Catholic leaders who remain silent or hidden. It needs leaders who are bold, visible, and faithful. Leaders who see their profession as a path to holiness and their workplace as a mission territory. Leaders ready not only to participate in culture, but to transform it.

At Tepeyac Hill, under the mantle of Our Lady, you will be reminded of your mission. You will be equipped with the tools to carry it out. And you will be sent forth with confidence, knowing you are not alone, but part of a global movement of Catholic leaders.

Formation leads to mission. Mission requires courage. And courage begins with saying “yes.”

Will you join us at Tepeyac and say your “yes”?

America 250 and the Soul of a Nation

From the beginning, the American story has been deeply intertwined with Christianity. Although the Founding Fathers represented different denominations and convictions, they largely shared a belief that human rights come from God, not from governments.

Why Do Catholics Confess Their Sins to a Priest?

The priest is an instrument, much like a messenger who delivers a royal pardon. The authority belongs entirely to Christ, but He chooses to make His mercy present through human speech and presence.

The Hidden Spiritual Cost of Constant Connectivity

Many professionals begin and end their days with screens rather than silence. The first impulse upon waking is often to check messages; the last before sleep is to scroll. It trains the mind to seek external input rather than interior dialogue with God.
