We’ve Come a Long Way

At TLI, we believe that every Catholic is called to lead—not only in their parishes but primarily in the world. Our mission is to equip them with the formation, skills, and courage to do so effectively.

In 2018, panelists, a facilitator, and program participants—about 33 members of the TLI 2018 cohort—gathered in Phoenix, Arizona, as part of the first Tepeyac Leadership Initiative cohort.

In the early days of Tepeyac Leadership, Inc. (TLI), our sessions were simple but powerful—gathering in a room, exchanging big ideas, and fueling a shared mission to form lay Catholic leaders for civil society. It was a time of deep connection and vision, where the seeds of a movement were planted.

By the Grace of God, that same passion, energy, and dynamism continue to thrive today. Over the years, TLI has evolved, embracing new opportunities while staying true to our core mission. Today, our program flourishes both in person and through our vibrant virtual platform, making leadership formation more accessible than ever to Catholic professionals around the world.

Even our branding has evolved—our logo was much simpler in the beginning. But while we may look different, what drives us remains the same: the call to raise up a new generation of faithful, well-formed Catholic leaders who will transform society.

A Growing Impact

God-willing, this June, we will reach a major milestone—400 Tepeyac Leaders trained and sent forth into the world! These graduates represent a powerful force for change, bringing the light of the Gospel into their workplaces, communities, and industries. They serve in hospitals, universities, corporations, nonprofits, and government offices, ensuring that Catholic values have a seat at every decision-making table.

Think about it: behind every human institution, there is a group of people shaping its direction—enacting policies, setting agendas, and influencing outcomes. Whether it’s the halls of Congress, a boardroom, or a local school committee, decisions are being made every day that impact millions of lives. And yet, too often, Catholic voices are missing from these conversations.

We cannot afford to remain on the sidelines. If there was ever a time for lay Catholic leaders to step up and take their rightful place in shaping society, that time is now!

In 2018, program participants—gathered as part of the first TLI cohort.

The Mission Continues – Will You Join Us?

At TLI, we believe that every Catholic is called to lead—not only in their parishes but primarily in the world. Our mission is to equip them with the formation, skills, and courage to do so effectively. That’s why in 2025, we’re launching new initiatives to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

But we cannot do this alone. Your support is essential to our success. Whether you are an alumnus, a benefactor, or a friend of TLI, we invite you to be part of this exciting new chapter.

Together, we are transforming lives, strengthening the Church, and preparing the next generation of Catholic leaders. Will you journey with us? Thank you for believing in this mission and for your continued prayers and support. We look forward to sharing more with you soon!

P.S. The Tepeyac Leadership Gala is around the corner! Support our apostolate by registering to attend the Gala or making a gift now. No amount is too small/large. THANK YOU!

The Prosperity Trap: A Professional’s Call to Fidelity

True prosperity, in the Catholic tradition, is not found in the accumulation of capital, but in the alignment of our wills with the will of God. Wealth itself is a gift and a responsibility, a tool for the common good and the service of our neighbor, not a trophy of our spiritual standing.
