David Bereit Takes the Stage at Tepeyac Leadership Gala

The event is a major fundraiser for Tepeyac Leadership, with a goal of raising $115,000 to support its mission.

On April 12, 2025 in Phoenix, David Bereit will share his journey and insights into the power of lay Catholic leadership in transforming society.

Tepeyac Leadership, Inc. (TLI) a global Catholic apostolate dedicated to forming lay Catholic leaders for civil society, is excited to announce that David Bereit, renowned pro-life leader and founder of 40 Days for Life, will be the keynote speaker for the 2025 Tepeyac Leadership Gala on April 12th, 2025 in Phoenix. TLI is proud to bring an inspiring new voice to this highly anticipated event.

David Bereit’s powerful story of leadership and action began in 1998 when a Planned Parenthood abortion center opened in Bryan/College Station, Texas. Fueled by a deep sense of purpose, David mobilized 60 churches and thousands of volunteers to take a stand. His efforts resulted in the closure of the abortion center, earned his hometown the title of “the most anti-choice place in the nation” from Planned Parenthood, and ignited a lifelong dedication to pro-life advocacy.

David went on to establish 40 Days for Life, the world’s largest grassroots pro-life movement, where his leadership helped mobilize 2,000 leaders and 750,000 volunteers across 700 cities. The movement’s success includes the saving of 14,643 lives, the exit of 177 abortion workers from the industry, and 96 abortion facility closures.

How Is Your Lent Going So Far?

The beauty of Lent is that it reminds us of God’s boundless mercy. The Cross was not the end of the story—Easter was. Our struggles, setbacks, and failures do not define us; God’s grace does. Every time we turn back to Him, He welcomes us with open arms.
