Dear TLI Family,
As we gather our thoughts and reflect on this past week, our hearts are filled with immense gratitude and profound joy. This past weekend, we came together at the Basilica of Guadalupe on Tepeyac Hill to celebrate The Hour of the Laity 2026. What a truly extraordinary, moving, and grace-filled experience it was for everyone involved.
Gathering in the shadow of Our Lady of Guadalupe provided a sacred and intimate backdrop for our days of formation, deep fellowship, and heartfelt prayer. The spiritual depth of the pilgrimage touched every participant, reminding us of the unique and vital call entrusted to the laity in shaping our culture, our professional fields, and our civil society with the truth and love of Christ.
An undertaking of this magnitude does not happen by chance, and we owe a debt of sincere gratitude to so many individuals who poured their time, talent, and dedication into making it a reality. First, our heartfelt thanks go out to our guest bishops and priests whose spiritual guidance, celebration of the sacraments, and profound homilies anchored our time in grace. We express our deep appreciation to our Board of Directors and the TLI Leadership Council for their continuous vision, governance, and unwavering support of our mission.
We are also deeply indebted to our generous sponsors, whose financial stewardship and belief in our work make these transformative initiatives possible. To our dedicated staff and tireless volunteers: your behind-the-scenes labor, joyful service, and meticulous attention to detail ensured that every moment ran seamlessly. You are the hands and feet of TLI, and we are profoundly grateful for your witness.
Most importantly, we want to extend a personal and heartfelt thank you to each of our attendees. You made this pilgrimage and conference a truly memorable and impactful gathering. You brought your openness, your faith, your professional experiences, and your fellowship, turning this event into a vibrant, living community of Catholic leaders. We pray that the graces received on Tepeyac Hill will continue to bear fruit in your families, your workplaces, and your communities in the days and weeks ahead.
As we look forward with renewed energy and purpose, we are reminded that our work of forming principled leaders is more critical now than ever before. This brings us to a very exciting milestone on our organizational calendar: the official recruitment period for the Tepeyac Leadership Initiative program, which stands as the most important formation platform we offer.
The Tepeyac Leadership Initiative is designed for professionals who are ready to step up, integrate their faith with their daily work, and lead with excellence, integrity, and courage. Through our comprehensive 18-week curriculum, participants engage in rigorous leadershiptraining, spiritual formation, and network building that equips them to be true servant-leaders in the public square.
We are currently accepting applications for admissions through November 10. If you know a colleague, a friend, or a family member who possesses the drive, character, and passion to make a lasting impact in their professional and civic spheres, we invite you to encourage them to apply. Let us continue to invite others into this life-changing journey so that our movement may continue to grow and transform society.
Thank you for being part of the TLI family. Let us keep one another in our daily prayers.
Sincerely yours in Christ and Our Lady of Guadalupe,
