Dear TLI family,
In 1917, in the small village of Fatima, Portugal, three shepherd children received a series of apparitions from the Blessed Virgin Mary that would transform the spiritual life of millions around the world. The children, Francisco Marto, Jacinta Marto, and Lúcia dos Santos, were young, poor, and largely unknown. Yet God entrusted them with a message of prayer, repentance, sacrifice, and hope for the world.
As I think of them today, I find myself reflecting on the headlines dominating the world stage these past days. Wars continue to wound innocent families. Political tensions between nations and leaders remain high. Religious freedom is still threatened in places like China, where underground Catholics continue facing pressure and persecution. At the same time, the voice of the Church continues to rise with clarity and courage, reminding the world that human dignity can never be reduced to politics, ideology, or power.
In recent weeks, Pope Leo XIV has spoken repeatedly about peace, human dignity, and the moral responsibility of leaders to reject hatred and violence. His message has resonated across the world because it speaks directly to the deepest longing of the human heart: the desire to live in truth, freedom, solidarity, and hope.
This is precisely why the mission of Tepeyac Leadership remains so urgent.
TLI was never created merely to form successful professionals. It was created to form virtuous leaders. In a world increasingly shaped by division, confusion, and fear, the world needs Catholic professionals who can lead with prudence, courage, justice, charity, and faithfulness. The world needs leaders who are not afraid to bring light into difficult conversations. Leaders who understand that authentic leadership begins with personal conversion and extends outward into service for the common good.
Many of you live this mission every single day.
You do it quietly in your workplaces, in your businesses, in your schools, in your parishes, and within your own families. You mentor young professionals. You defend human dignity. You accompany those who suffer. You build bridges instead of walls. You bring hope into environments that desperately need it.
Never underestimate the power of that witness.
One of the great temptations in modern society is discouragement. We can look at the headlines and begin to believe that darkness is winning. Yet throughout history, the Church has always advanced through faithful men and women who chose holiness, courage, and perseverance during difficult moments. The saints were not formed during easy times. They were formed during times of crisis.
The Lord is calling Catholic professionals precisely now to rediscover their mission as missionary disciples in the public square. Not with anger. Not with ideological rigidity. But through conviction, charity, excellence, and joy.
The children of Fatima lived during a time of war, political instability, and growing hostility toward the faith. Yet their message was ultimately one of hope. Despite the headlines today, at TLI we continue to see signs of hope everywhere.
We see it in the growth of our global TLI family. We see it in the increasing number of young professionals seeking authentic formation. We see it in our alumni who continue impacting culture through, quiet but real faithful leadership. We see it in the mentorship and solidarity that continue growing across our global community.
And we are only getting started.
Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing several exciting announcements involving new initiatives, collaborations, leadership opportunities, and special recognitions that will continue strengthening the mission of Tepeyac Leadership.
I truly believe the Lord is opening new doors for our community.
Thank you for continuing to walk this journey with us. Thank you for your prayers, your friendship, your generosity, and your witness. Please continue praying for our Church, for our world leaders, and for peace throughout the world.
